A few words from Dr. Simmons...
I am a native of New Jersey and transitioned to Virginia at the age of 12. I grew up in Brunswick and Mecklenburg Counties and graduated from Park View High School. I received a B.A. in Business Administration from Saint Paul’s College, M.A.T. in Special Education from Liberty University, M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix. In addition, I have a master's degree in Divinity from Liberty University and a D. Min. in Pastoral Leadership from Andersonville Baptist Theological Seminary. This is my first year as an alternative education coordinator / assistant principal. I have taught and coached past 12 years in Brunswick and Greensville County as a special education teacher with a great passion for math. I am so excited to be a part of the Lunenburg County Schools Family. I am here to encourage everyone I come in contact with to be the best version of themselves and success will be a part of their everyday lives.
