LMS Families: A photographer from Strawbridge Studios will be at your school on 12/19/2023 to photograph your Fall Retake pictures. Yes, any student can take retakes, whether they were present on the original date or not. They just ask that if you received pictures, to bring them with you when you come.

Every public school shall hold at least two additional lock-down drills after the first 60 days of the school session. Every public school shall provide the parents of enrolled students with at least 24 hours' notice before the school conducts any lock-down drill. Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students shall be exempt from mandatory participation in lock-down drills during the first 60 days of the school session.

💙🤍8th grade Health and Physical Education students are learning to play Pickleball. This is a game that has become popular in recent years, but many kids have not heard about it and have not played it before. Pickleball is a racket or paddle sport in which players hit a perforated, hollow plastic ball with paddles over a net. It is similar to tennis or ping pong.💙🤍

In honor of Hispanic heritage month, Spanish I students made “papel picado “ a traditional Mexican folk art in which images or patterns are cut out of tissue paper and pieced together to make banners. These are used at weddings, birthdays, holidays, and parties of all kinds.
