MARK YOUR CALENDARS...Lunenburg Preschool Recruitment Day (with Health & Wellness Resources available) is Friday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at both Kenbridge and Victoria Elementary Schools. This is a FLOATING event so you can come ANYTIME between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Children who will turn 4 on or before September 30, 2023, are the right age for the LCPS Preschool Program and Head Start. This month’s focus is Cooperation. One way to think about Cooperation is “working together to reach shared goals.” As a family, talk about how this definition applies to how you work together at home. What are some goals you share? Throughout the school, students will be developing skills like perspective-taking, conflict resolution, and leadership.

This month’s focus is Honesty. One way to think about Honesty is “being truthful in what you say and do.” Practicing Honesty helps strengthen our relationships and reduce stress. Throughout the school, students will be developing skills like emotion regulation, positive self-talk, and stress-management.
