Dr. Tammy Hurt, Secondary Workforce Development Specialist for Region 8 presented the Virginia Department of Education High-Quality Work Based Learning program to the Lunenburg Chamber of Commerce which is geared towards giving all students work-ready experiences and opportunities for career development. Raja Adams, a senior marketing student presented a banner and sign-making school-based enterprise at the high school. Raja also participates in a service learning project with the Lunenburg Animal Shelter and is a Marketing Co-op student which are all considered work-based learning experiences.
