Central Garden & Pet/Pennington Seed is currently looking for qualified High School Seniors who are interested in a paid work-based learning opportunity to include online learning, job shadowing, and hands-on learning and working within: Safety, Quality Control, Inventory Management, Sales and Merchandising, Transportation, General Management, and the General Warehouse functions. This program will start in the early Fall of 2021 and end in late Spring of 2022, following the school calendar year. Upon graduation, there will be opportunities for employment at this location, as well as other potential openings in other locations and within other parts of the Central Garden & Pet businesses.
We are looking for a dependable, committed student who is willing to take ownership of their work, has a positive attitude, great work ethic and is a curious learner.
This paid program is part-time (15-20 hours/week).
