The Town of Kenbridge is offering opportunities to 11th and 12th graders at Central High School to help develop and enhance their work skills. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Office - Town Manager and Treasurer -
Learn office skills such as filing, answering the telephone, processing water bills and tax payments.
Experience event planning for several town events - Fall Harvest Festival, July Jubilee, and collaboration with the town of Victoria for the Autumn Days festival.
Maintenance -
Hands-on work such as cutting grass, leaf, brush, and snow removal.
Performing routine inspections and maintenance of town equipment and vehicles.
Water and Waste Management -
Use math and chemistry to ensure our town has safe drinking water and proper waste disposal.
Police Department -
Work alongside a town police officer in the office and at the county courthouse.
