Central High School Students performed an interpretive dance about Harriet Tubman's life at the February 14th LCPS School Board Meeting. "Stand Up" is the title of the song. Harriet Tubman was an American abolitionist and political activist. Born into slavery, Tubman escaped and subsequently maked some 13 missions to rescue approximately 70 enslaved people, including family and friends, using the network of antislavery activitists and safe houses known as the Underground Railroad.
