The CHS Teachers for Tomorrow students visited Longwood University on March 22. Students attended a presentation in the Admissions office and toured the campus with a Longwood Ambassador that included the Rotunda, the new Upchurch Student Center, and an exclusive tour of the Andy Taylor Early Childhood Development Center. The director of the center talked about internship opportunities available for students while in high school and college. Students ended their visit with lunch in the campus dining hall. Another highlight of the trip was the students were able to meet and take a picture with President Reveley. Many thanks to Rosa Townsend, Longwood University Transfer Navigator, Early Childhood Education, the Admissions Office, and Emily Davidson, Site Director for the Andy Taylor Center for Early Childhood Development for a special trip. Longwood also provided transportation and lunch for the students.
