CHS DECA & FBLA Clubs visited the Amazon Fulfillment Center on Friday, April 5.




Congratulations to our classes that won the Perfect Attendance Car Race! We have Krista Hall's Class at VES, Victoria Parrott's Class at KES, and Brenda Wade's Class at LMS. The entire class was awarded a t-shirt. Teachers were given a gift certificate donated by Shear Designs and a set of Sharpie art markers donated by Kenbridge Office & School Supply! After four weeks non-stop we have made it to the final showdown. In the final four KES (97%) classes pulled out a win over VES (95%). Mrs. Bentley's class at KES maintained perfect attendance all week last week.
In the matchup between CHS and LMS, LMS (96%) classes were able to pull out a win over CHS (90%). In this week's matchup between LMS and KES, we will have a winner for our 2019 March Madness-inspired attendance contest.

Updates for CHS Softball & Baseball first week of April!
1. Varsity Baseball and JV Softball will travel to William Campbell on WEDNESDAY, 4/3 for 5:00 PM games.
2. Varsity Softball and JV Baseball will host William Campbell on THURSDAY, 4/4 at 6:00 PM
3. JV Softball will host Park View on THURSDAY, 4/4 as scheduled but the start time will be moved up to 4:00 PM.

LMS Annual Spring Semi-formal Dance is STILL ON for TONIGHT, Friday, March 29 from 6-8 p.m.


Attention Seniors!
You will be taking your Cap & Gown pictures on this coming, MONDAY----APRIL 1ST!
Strawbridge will be taking individual shots of the 2019 senior class! This will begin around 11:30 am.
Students can bring their own cap and gown to wear or Strawbridge does have caps and gowns that can be worn for the individual pictures. Strawbridge can also provide shirts and ties for the guys who need them. Students that will use the Strawbridge caps and gowns just need to wear a t-shirt.
A Group Picture will take place at a later date. NOT on Monday.


Central High School and Lunenburg Middle School will be closing at 11:00 a.m. today, Friday, March 29th due to a water issue. The Annual Spring Semi-Formal dance at LMS will go on as planned from 6-8 p.m.

We're down to the Final Four for our March Madness Attendance Challenge! The teams have been competing the last four weeks and four teams have made it to the final four round representing their schools in the Final Four face off. Representing from VES is Mrs. Moody (K), Mrs. Hershberger (5th grade), and Mrs. Pinchesky (4th grade); from KES, are Mrs. Nowlin (K), Mrs. Wilkins (3rd Grade), and Mrs. Bentley (5th Grade). The 1st period classroom teams representing LMS are Mr. Bailey and Mr. Ellis, and at CHS the 1st-period classroom teams are Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Cundiff, and Mr. McGrath. The VES PTO Meeting was last night, Thursday, March 21. Our fourth graders enjoyed showing their parents about circuits, Google classroom, and their recorder skills. Thank you to everyone that came out!
