Lunenburg County Public Schools will reopen on August 24, 2020. We are looking forward to seeing your child! Parents can choose between in-person or virtual learning. A full, detailed plan will be coming soon. Check out the news article on the main page of our website www.lunenburgcountyschools.org for details on how that will look for your child's grade level. The updated LCPS Calendar for 2020-2021 is also on the website. Hot spots are being placed throughout the county to help with any virtual learning. Open House will occur at a time to be determined, and every student will receive a tablet or Chromebook, depending on grade level, also at a time to be determined. Look for supply lists to be posted soon! Keep checking our website and our Facebook pages for updates on hot spot locations, Open House details, Chromebook and tablet distribution, and a detailed reopening plan!

Due to unforeseen circumstances we will no longer be able to serve meals from Kenbridge Elementary. We will continue to serve meals from Central High School through the end of July.

The deadline for the LCPS Parent Survey to assess your needs for the coming school year has been extended to Monday, July 6 at 8 a.m. If you cannot access the links online, representatives from each school will be at the meal giveaway sites to assist you in completing the survey. That will take place today, Wednesday, July 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kenbridge Elementary School and Central High School. We NEED your feedback for a successful school year! Thank you for your input in this matter.

CHANGE IN MEAL SCHEDULE THIS WEEK DUE TO HOLIDAY--Meals will be served at Kenbridge Elementary School and Central High School on as normal on Monday, June 29 and then again on WEDNESDAY, JULY 1 (instead of Thursday) from 11 AM to 1 PM.
ATTENTION LUNENBURG FAMILIES--The number of meals being picked up at Kenbridge Elementary School has been very low for the last two weeks. We will have to close this meal location if numbers don't increase. Come out TODAY from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. A child must accompany the parent at meal pick up. Meals are free for children age 2-18 years old.

Central High School will operate on a 4 by 4 block system for the 2020-2021 school year ONLY. Students will take four classes in the fall and take four different classes in the spring for a total of 8 classes for the year. The CHS Guidance Department will be contacting you in the coming weeks for scheduling purposes. Thank you!
