ATTENTION LCPS FAMILIES--MEAL INFORMATION IS NOW AVAILABLE! Starting Monday, August 24, breakfast and lunch will be provided Monday - Friday each week. ONLY LCPS students will receive meals. Meals will need to be heated. Meals will be delivered by bus if your student has a bus route. Buses will leave the schools at 3:00 p.m. Bear with us the first week of delivery--we could be a little later or a little earlier. Elementary and secondary routes will be combined. It could be a bus with a different number delivering your meals. Meals will also be available for pick up if your child does not ride a bus. Those meals can be picked up at Central High School and Kenbridge Elementary School from 3 - 6 p.m.

If we do not have all registration paperwork for your Pre K or Kindergarten child, you will NOT be issued a device nor will your child be assigned to a home room. ATTENTION VICTORIA ELEMENTARY AND KENBRIDGE ELEMENTARY FAMILIES:
Tablets and Chromebooks will be deployed to all elementary school students next week. Victoria Elementary Students will pick up tablets and Chromebooks on Tuesday, August 18 from 10:00 a.m. - 2 p.m. and again from 4 - 7 p.m. Kenbridge Elementary Students will pick tablets and Chromebooks up on Thursday, August 20 from 10:00 a.m. - 2 p.m. and again from 4 - 7 p.m. Virtual Open Houses at each school will be sent out as a link on the day that devices are deployed. Check Facebook and the website for those Virtual Open House links.
LMS will give out Chromebooks tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and then again from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Parents and students are to drive through the bus loop, NOT the parent loop, to pick up your Chromebooks, schedules, etc. See you tomorrow!
IT'S TIME FOR CHARGER CHEER TRYOUTS--Please join the Cheer Band App for Charger Cheer tryout information. Tryout material will be released at 12:00 p.m. today, Monday, August 10. Submissions will be due Thursday, August 13 at 12:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Kunath at jean.kunath@k12lcps.org.
This evening the Honorable Ralph S. Northam, Governor of Virginia, will be hosting a virtual event of interest to school leaders, parents, and students. Be sure to attend!

Attention Parents of LMS 6th Graders! 6th Grade Orientation will be held virtually the week of August 17! More detailed information with an exact date and time will be coming soon!
CHS Seniors, Class of 2021—Be sure to check your email for important information regarding senior portraits on Friday, August 7. There is an important change in pictures this year due to COVID-19. Drapes and tuxes WILL NOT be provided this year. We are asking ladies to wear a nice dress and gentlemen wear a dress shirt and a tie. If you do not have a tie, one can be provided.
