We will conduct interviews by phone, and teachers will screen students at the beginning of the school year. IMPORTANT UPDATES: *All Learning Packets have been mailed, and you should receive them very soon if you have not already. *The LCPS Learning Portal is now available! The link will pop up immediately when you access the website. It will soon be permanently located on the website as a link in the LCPS Coronavirus Information Center. *The updated LCPS Parent Newsletter is now available on the website as well.
Lunenburg County Public Schools will close for the remainder of the school year (2019-2020) due to the COVID-19 pandemic as directed by Governor Northam. We ask for your understanding and patience during this challenging time. We all have many questions, and we will be getting guidance from the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) moving forward. At the present time:
*All events and activities are canceled until further notice.
*Learning packets were mailed today. Please use these packets to work with your child.
*We are making modifications to our online learning portal based on guidelines that we are being given from the VDOE, and we will release it as soon as possible.
*Keep checking the app, the website, and the facebook pages for updated information.
REMINDER - Learning Packets will be mailed home this week. You do NOT need to pick them up from the schools today!

CHANGE IN FREE MEALS SCHEDULE –Free Meals will now be available on MONDAYS and THURSDAYS. Times and locations remain the same--11 AM – 1 PM at both Kenbridge Elementary School and Central High School. During this time, NEXT WEEK ONLY, books donated by Ripberger Public Library will be given out for students of ALL grade levels. You DO NOT have to come to the school next Monday to pick up packets. Learning packets and report cards will NOW BE MAILED HOME TO EACH STUDENT NEXT WEEK. Online learning resources will be available on our website, www.lunenburgcountyschools.org, next week as well.
